Mohammad Sharifi Maftun Saravi is one of the greatest poets of the late Qajar era of Mazandaran. He was born in 1252 AH in Sari and died in 1313 AH. In the literary circles of the time, he was a well-known figure. There are two works left by Maftun Sarvi: A dissertation on the nature of writing and the collection of his poems.
